CHARLOTTE ENGAGEMENT SESSION NEAR THE CATAWBA RIVER

There’s something about the last couples of hours of a summer day along the Catawba River. The light gets thick and golden, the air finally softens, and everything feels a little slower. That’s exactly the kind of evening Ray and Alex gave us when we jumped into the fields just outside Charlotte as the sun started its descent. Tall grass catching the last of the light, the river threading quietly through the landscape behind them in the distance, and two people completely at ease with each other. One of those engagement sessions that almost photographs itself.
